COME DOWN THE SLOPES AND THROUGH THE GATES. BETTER NEVER STOPS!

With the Competition Course, with ESF, you will learn the aspects required to pass the relevant tests as well as how to compete with other skiers. Although there is no pressure involved, you will enjoy learning how to ski the slalom gates and learn extra techniques to improve style, power and speed.

BRONZE STAR COURSE:  
This course prepares you for the Bronze Star tests.
  • Level Required: 3rd star level
  • Programme of the week: Mainly preparing you for the Bronze tests.

GOLD STAR COURSE:  
Level Required: Bronze Star
Programme of the week: Making corrections in technique to prepare for the Slalom and passing the test of the Flèche and Chamois tests or Ski Cross according to the conditions. 

COMPETITION COURSE:
The competition course allows you to experience the slalom and giant slalom. You are likely to also ski off piste during this course.
  • Level Required: Gold Star 
  • Programme of the week: Technical training with correction to ski the gates of the slalom and giant slalom. In preparation for the Flèche and Chamois tests.

In the competition course students are likely to ski off piste on safe slopes with an ESF instructor.

What equipment and clothes do I need for the Competition course?
Tell the hire shop of your choice to select skis suitable for competition and also the protective equipment for racing through gates (competition only)
Which lift pass package do I need?
The lift pass of Les Menuires / Saint Martin de Belleville
Could I pass the Flèche and Chamois tests?
All students enrolled in the Competition course will participate in the various tests: Flèche, Chamois, Rocket and Ski Cross.
There is a possibility to enter the national ranking of skiers thanks to OPEN Points.
