snowshoe outings

strap on those snowshoes and take a walk with nature

DISCOVER THE WONDERS OF THE MOUNTAIN!

Discover the Belleville Valley with various snowshoeing trips accompanied by our qualified instructors from St Martin! They offer half-day or evening walks, from Sunday to Friday.

Take this unique opportunity to discover the rich and preserved natural environment of the Valley. Accompanied by your ESF guide you can benefit from all their experience and local knowledge of the mountain, wildlife and nature. Snowshoeing can be undertaken on marked trails, but generally it is in the powder snow and within the most beautiful natural landscapes.

More information at the ESF office or by contacting us here.
The initial outing can or may be modified according to the weather conditions.

Loan of equipment (snowshoes) and transport included.

Question & Answer
Are snowshoe outings accessible to everyone?
With the exception of any medical problems, the outings are accessible to anyone from 10 years old (children must be accompanied by an adult).
Will I keep up with the group?
The instructors adapt the outing according to the level of the participants.
What should I wear?
Snowshoeing is a sporting activity. It is therefore necessary to equip oneself accordingly: warm, breathable clothes (skiwear) and not too thick.
What shoes?
Mountain walking shoes are the best equipment (possibility to rent in the various sports shops).
Most après-ski and snow boots are fine (not snowboard boots - too rigid, or "Moon Boots"- too wide).
Do I need a lift pass?
No. As part of the outings organised by the ESF Menuires / St Martin, we take care of the lift pass if the outing requires the taking of a lift.
