On 20 February, Les Menuires hosted the highlight of its winter season: the Trophée de l'Espoir. The event has been held in the resort for 26 years. The aim is to raise funds for the Alpysia charity.
Sponsored by judoka David Douillet, the event invites the public to take part in a wide range of activities in a spirit of friendship and solidarity. Here's a look back at the 2025 event!
A not-to-be-missed charity evening in Les Menuires
For the 26thᵉ consecutive year, the resort organised Le Trophée de l'Espoir in aid of Alpysia, Alliance Paralysie Cérébrale des Alpes.
Created in 2023 after the merger of the two organisations ADIMC 74 and ADIMCP 38, the association works to support people with cerebral palsy or multiple disabilities in several aspects of daily life: education, sport and culture, accommodation, training or leisure and holidays.
With 15 establishments in Haute-Savoie and 7 in Isère, Alpysia is a major player in the Alpine region.
Through the Trophée de l'Espoir, Les Menuires is helping to raise public awareness of the association's work, as well as making winter sports more accessible to people with disabilities.

From 10am on Thursday 20 February, the Croisette district was abuzz with activity, as a stand selling a range of goodies (mugs, cuddly toys and other accessories) was set up, and the Cosmic Show paraded around to the sound of music. It was a great way to kick off the evening's festivities, from 6.30pm, with a show by the Big Dancers puppets.
Torches were also on sale at the Tourist Office and esf offices for anyone wishing to take part in the huge torchlight descent (accessible to everyone from level 3ᵉ star).

Guided by patron David Douillet, the procession brought together able-bodied and wheelchair skiers. It was a moving moment of communion that ended with a magnificent fireworks display admired by the whole crowd!

Les Menuires, a committed resort
As well as Alpysia, Les Menuires supports other charities such as the Association Petits Princes, which makes the dreams of seriously ill children and teenagers come true. For 7 years now, the resort has been organising an annual fund-raising event to coincide with various events such as "Famille Plus, la montagne solidaire" and the "Thursday Night Show".
For Action Enfance, which is responsible for the protection, care and education of siblings separated from their parents by decision of the children's judge, Les Menuires has organised several holidays to introduce children, young people and their carers to the joys of the mountains.
Situated at an altitude of 1850 m in the heart of the 3 Vallées, the largest ski area in the world, Les Menuires wants everyone to be able to take advantage of its privileged location in the heart of the Alps. And with the Trophée de l'Espoir and all its solidarity initiatives, it's succeeded!
