If you're feeling competitive, we recommend that you take advantage of your visit to Les Menuires to take up a new sporting challenge: the ski test. Giant Slalom, Special Slalom, SkierCross... The sliding events offered by the esf are a good way to measure yourself against other athletes, but also to assess your own level.

Ski competitions organised by the esf in Les Menuires
Do you want to challenge yourself during your stay in the mountains? Then the ski test is for you. There are three main events: Flèche, Chamois and Skiercross. Depending on your mood and ability, you can choose to take part in one or more of them.
Each challenge has its own rules. For example, the Flèche test is a Giant Slalom event with between 25 and 35 gates and a total vertical drop of almost 250m. The route is assessed over 40 seconds, while the extra time is used to award a 'mark' to each competitor (Gold = 0 to 15% more, Vermeil = 15.01 to 28% more, etc.).
The Chamois test involves a total of 30 to 40 gates over a total height difference of almost 200 m, while the SkierCross test is a series of modules (whoops, tables, etc.). It's up to you to choose your next challenge in Les Menuires!
