Off-piste
The mountains in all their glory!
With our off-piste group lessons, explore the great outdoors alongside an esf high-mountain guide. From Class 3 level onwards, you’ll tackle new routes tailored to your preferences and the snow conditions, in complete safety.

Steep slopes, glacier skiing, challenging routes or multi-day outings: your guide will design a programme to help you improve your technique and make the most of your adventure beyond the marked pistes!

Any Questions?

Frequently Asked questions

Do I need a ski pass to attend the lessons?
Yes, a ski pass is required to access the resort's ski lifts and therefore to take part in the lessons. For more information, please see our dedicated 'How to choose a ski pass'.
Is insurance included in the lesson price?
No, esf does not provide insurance for its students. We recommend checking your personal insurance cover and taking out Carré Neige insurance if needed. For more information, please see our dedicated 'Take out Insurance' page.
What happens if the weather is too bad?
Depending on availability, your instructor may suggest an alternative location for the session or reschedule it.
What equipment do I need to bring?
  • You should bring your ski equipment, ensuring it is suitable, as well as warm clothing.
  • L'esf will provide the safety equipment. If you already have your own, the instructor will check that it is in good working order.
