Les Menuires: a resort with the Flocon Vert label
Awarded to the commune of Belleville, home to Les Menuires, the Flocon Vert label recognises the resort's commitment to sustainable development. Resource management, governance, a sustainable economy and social and cultural dynamics are just some of the areas in which not only the town is taking action, but also the players around it, such as the esf Les Menuires.
Les Menuires, along with the other resorts in the Valley (Saint-Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens), has been working together for several years to offer a clean, sustainable and accessible place for every tourist, as well as a welcoming environment for the esf instructors and all the seasonal workers.
With a wealth of environmental, social and sustainable initiatives, Les Menuires is the responsible destination of choice for your next mountain holiday, with family or friends!

esf instructors, an inclusive and committed team
One of Les Menuires' commitments is to the inclusion and well-being of its ski instructors. The esf strives to provide a healthy and serene working environment for its staff by offering them dedicated accommodation and services specially designed to make their daily lives easier.
The station is also committed to creating heterogeneous and inclusive teams, with equal numbers of men and women and a rich variety of profiles.
All these personalities enrich the working and leisure environment at Les Menuires on a daily basis and help to pass on the values of the French Ski School to every holidaymaker.

Raising awareness of more sustainable tourism
By taking action to make the mountains more sustainable, the esf des Menuires and its instructors are taking a real role in raising awareness of good practice among students and tourists. In fact, they are not the only ones who can and should take action to preserve the mountain environment.
Between and during their lessons, the instructors take the time to teach and pass on the fundamental actions that need to be taken to protect the mountains.
Through our illustrated fresco on the podium at the Croisette, we raise awareness among pupils of the behaviours they can adopt to look after the resort and its flora and fauna. There are also a number of responsible initiatives, such as waste collection and the 'Neiges et Montagne' (Snow and Mountain) campaign, which enables us to teach young and old alike all the subtleties and rules of mountain safety!
